Shell Eco Marathon sets a regulation about the driver’s minimum weight for the competition. For Urban category, the minimum weight of the driver is 70 Kg and 50 Kg for Prototype category.
Although there are rules about the driver’s minimum weight, driver which has weight below the minimum weight is allowed the drive during the competition. But, there’s a condition for the underweight driver which is to add some weight into the car so that the total mass would be 70 Kg.
