The Antawirya Team is a team from Diponegoro University focused on research in energy-efficient vehicles. Our goal is to research and create vehicles with the most fuel-efficient consumption possible while also being environmentally friendly.
Gentayu, Team Antawirya's vehicle focused on an internal combustion engine, takes its name from Prince Diponegoro's horse. Evolving since 2015, Gentayu received a new body design in early 2019 and has since seen numerous innovations in both body and chassis. It has achieved various awards at the Shell Eco-Marathon Asia Pacific and Middle East and the Energy-Efficient Car Contest.
Rondhan, Team Antawirya's second vehicle in the Prototype Battery-Electric category, is named after Prince Diponegoro's spear. Launched in early 2023, Rondhan quickly achieved podium finishes at the Shell Eco-Marathon Asia Pacific and Middle East 2023, as well as the 2023 and 2024 Energy-Efficient Car Contests.
